It's done!! finally finished! I think it turned out better than I thought it would. I used black paint with a flat finish and the fabric is a new line of damask from Home Fabrics. The original upholster had a short skirt that went about 2 inches down along the sit. I wanted to keep the design clean and simple to go with the nice clean lines of the chair. I absolutely love the contrast of colors: so rich and elegant, with a touch of contemporary flair! What do you think???

I love Home Fabrics. That material is SO stinkin' cute! I should go see if MY store has it. It would be super cute on my black chairs too! I LOVE IT, especially next to that delicious wall! CUTE, CUTE!
