A Living Room/Gallery- Before and After

The owner of this beautiful home is also an amazing photographer and was looking to convert her front room into a formal living room/gallery where she could meet with potential clients.

First order of business was to remove the paneling and add a new finish to the walls. Next was to replace the carpet with hardwood flooring. The new furniture needed to be a good contrast to the dark walls but neutral enough to not distract the eye from the art on the walls. The mercury glass and brushed nickle in the accessories reflect both the natural and artificial light to accentuate and compliment the art in canvas. One of my many favorite things in this room is the side table between the semi-wingback chairs. The brass twig design complements the nature in the homeowner's photography.
